What is TET54?

What's with the username "tet54"? - a question I'm asked all the time.

"TET" are my initials.

"Then what about the '54'"?

"That's the year I was born in - 1954"

" - . - "

Ok, but it's actually pretty simple (and stupid - or genius?). Take a look at your keyboard, the letters "T" and "E" are close together, separated only by an "R". Take a look at the numbers above the "R" - that's right, "5" and "4".

When typed as a combo, it is THE optimal number of keystrokes, amount of time between said strokes, and with the least use of effort to produce a result that still represents me. It is also a reflection of my lazy personality (or in better words - that tries to maximize efficiency everywhere).

A short username speaks a thousand words.

I know you're shocked - I'm about to shock you some more.

There's a reason why it's "TET54" and not "TET45" - so that I don't have the switch my brain from thinking "right to left" to "left to right" after typing "TET".
